SOFT MATTER BIOMECHANICS

We use experimental and computational methods to uncover the mechano-bio-chemical behavior of living soft materials with a particular focus on the brain and skin.

Our Research Objective

We develop experimental and computational tools to study complex biological systems such as skin and brain. We integrate mechanics, biology, and biophysics to understand their relation in explaining function and form of the healthy and pathological behavior of organs.
