Academic background

Since November 2018 I am an Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology.

From October 2014 until November 2018, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow of the Institute of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics (ITAMP) at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I was affiliated with the group of Mikhail Lukin at Harvard University. In 2016, I received the Branco Weiss Fellowship of the Society in Science.

From 2009 to 2014 I was a PhD student at the University of Vienna in the group of Časlav Brukner, as part of the Vienna doctoral program on complex quantum systems (CoQuS). My external thesis advisers were A. Zeilinger and M.S. Kim. I worked as a research fellow at the Vienna Center for Quantum Science and Technology (VCQ) and the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Vienna (IQOQI).

In 2009 I finished my studies at the Free University of Berlin, with an external diploma thesis conducted in the group of Dirk Bouwmeester at UCSB and Leiden University.
