A drone that can swap batteries in midair.
A subterranean Martian base where astronauts can sustainably live for up to 7 years.
A smartphone app that helps safely guide visually impaired pedestrians.
A Transformer-style ship that changes shape at sea to scoop up patches of plastic waste.
These are just a few of the displays of Stevens student ingenuity that will be showcased on April 28 at Stevens' annual Innovation Expo.

This year’s Expo features more than 200 senior design projects — including over 40 in collaboration with partners such as the United Nations, Merck, the Cleveland Clinic, General Dynamics, L3Harris and the Coast Guard — as well as:
|
- The annual Thomas H. Scholl Lecture by Visiting Entrepreneurs, delivered this year by Stevens graduate Rita Gurevich ’06, a successful cybersecurity CEO
- The annual Ansary Entrepreneurship Competition, a “Shark Tank”-style pitch competition with a $10,000 top prize
- A live outdoor concert performed by students at Stevens’ College of Arts and Letters
|
“The Innovation Expo is the culmination of our undergraduate students’ studies, research and — in most cases — dedicated collaboration with innovative forward-thinking peers,” says Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Jianmin Qu.
“We always look forward to the amazing work on display — it encapsulates the Stevens undergraduate experience.”
