Brief information
Dr. Yi Bao is an Assistant Professor in Civil, Environmental and Ocean Engineering and directs the Smart Infrastructure Laboratory at Stevens Institute of Technology. He was a Postdoc at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Dr. Bao is dedicated to developing smart infrastructure through innovations in structural design, sensors, materials, and advanced algorithms for sustainable and resilient structures. He has authored more than 170 peer-reviewed journals papers.
