Stevens senior Qianwen Zhao is applying her robotics research to help stroke patients regain lost mobility or functionality by creating a robot-assisted therapeutic device — a Haptic joystick — that connects a patient with a video game tailored to their rehab needs.

In Stevens' research centers and laboratories, it's common to find undergraduate students working alongside Ph.D. candidates under direct faculty supervision on some of the most pressing research challenges of our time, touching upon such areas as gene therapy, genomics, quantum computing, green infrastructure and infection detection.
