Stevens' long history of assisting the U.S. government's military and security efforts includes serving as a training ground for young Navy engineers during World War I and providing critical testing of model sea planes, torpedoes and submarines in the historic Davidson Lab. Technological support from Stevens for the military and veterans continues to this day, through Department of Defense-supported faculty research, two National Centers of Excellence and a range of security-focused student design projects.

Stevens Through the Years

The 2019 Fall Classic concluded in dramatic fashion, with the Nationals bringing home a World Series trophy to the nation’s capital. In Hoboken, the birthplace of America’s national pastime, the Stevens community saw the return of the Annual Alumni Baseball Game October 13, 2019 at Dobbelaar Field – where, 50 years ago, the Stevens varsity team trounced an alumni squad by a score of 21-2.
