The generous gift made by the chairman of MICRO, a Somerset, New Jersey manufacturer of precision metal and plastic components and devices, adds momentum to the Power of Stevens Campaign. The gift will help establish a new Multi-Disciplinary Tissue Engineering Lab as part of the Center for Healthcare Innovation, as well as a faculty chair within the Center and scholarships for student researchers.

The Stevens senior continued her dominance of middle-distance NCAA track championships with victories in the 5,000 and 10,000-meter races at the NCAA Division III outdoor track championships in Waverly, Iowa in May.

Dinesh Verma, dean of the School of Systems & Enterprises and executive director of the Systems Engineering Research Center, received the Edward M. Greer Award from the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) in May.
