The Process Automation Research
Group within the Center for
Technology Management Research
of Stevens Institute of Technology
is seeking applications for
PhD positions in the field of
information systems, with an
interest in process automation
and workflow management.
The Process Automation Research
Group is conducting various
research projects in the fields
of business process automation,
web services choreography and
workflow-based process controlling.
This position offers the opportunity
to help build a center of excellence
in Process Automation Research
within a rapidly expanding school
with a strong vision for the
future of technology management.
Requirements
Candidates must have a MSc
degree in computer science,
information systems or a related
field. Candidates with an MBA
(with interest in information
systems) or an MSc degree in
social sciences (with interest
in information systems) are
invited to apply. We are particularly
interested in candidates that
enjoy working in a multidisciplinary
team and that can bridge the
gap between business requirements
and technical implementations.
A limited number of fellowships
is available for outstanding
candidates.

related to technology management

The Ph.D. program is designed
primarily for full-time students.
Students who have completed
the Ph.D. program will be prepared
to join the faculty of leading
academic institutions or to
take high-level research-oriented
positions in industry.
