• LAST CONFERENCE: PRE XIV, JULY 3-6 2018

    PRE CONFERENCE HISTORY

    The Protection and Restoration of the Environment Conference started as an effort to foster and promote scientific cooperation amongst Greek and Greek –descent scientists living both in Greece and abroad by KRIKOS, a scientific and cultural organization headquartered in New York. The first conference was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, August 19 -21, 1992 and its success laid the foundation of the PRE Conference Series. PRE is co-sponsored and co-organized every two years by Stevens Institute of Technology in the USA and various Greek Universities. The conference has expanded to include all contemporary topics of environmental science and engineering and attracts contributors and participants of various nationalities from around the world. The proceedings of the PRE Conference Series (PRE I-PRE XIV) contain more than 2, 200 scientific papers and they are made available for free download in this site.
