With the generous support of a $15 million gift from the A. James and Alice B. Clark Foundation, Stevens Institute of Technology announced the creation of the A. James Clark Scholars Program. This new endowed scholarship program will provide financial support and enhanced learning opportunities to promising undergraduate students who are underrepresented in the high-impact engineering, computer science and cybersecurity fields. The Clark Foundation gift represents the largest endowed scholarship gift in Stevens' history and honors the legacy of the late A. James Clark by integrating engineering education, business leadership skills and community service.
Clark Scholars will be selected annually, based on a combination of academic achievement, financial need and community involvement. The Foundation has previously endowed scholarships at the University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Virginia, the University of Maryland and The George Washington University, among other institutions.
