Early Decision 1 Applications Are Up!
Reflecting the quality and value of a Stevens education, interest in the university continues to grow. The Early Decision 1 application pool for the Class of 2018 increased 52 percent over last year. If you feel Stevens is now your top choice school, please apply by the next Early Decision deadline: January 15, 2014. Please also note that all accepted Early Decision candidates will receive an estimated financial aid package with your acceptance letter, so long as you have filed your CSS Profile with Stevens by February 1, 2014. If you have already applied for Regular Decision and now want to switch into Early Decision 2, just be sure to contact your admissions counselor.

Special Scholarship Opportunities
Stevens offers several scholarship awards for talented applicants in a number of specialized areas: the Business Clubs Scholarship, FIRST Robotics Scholarship, DeBaun Performing Arts Scholarship, Science and Technology Center Volunteer Scholarship, and Liberal Arts Innovation Scholarship. 	Recording Artist: Stevens Student's Tech-Focused YouTube Channel Draws Millions of Subscribers
A junior business and technology major has a sizeable following on YouTube among tech enthusiasts who appreciate his deep knowledge of the products he discusses, his understanding of what his audience wants to learn and his polished delivery. This success earned the student a trip to Google's headquarters in Mountain View, Cali. to test out new products.

Stevens Student Inventor Reaches Finals of Statewide Start-up Competition
A Stevens mechanical engineering student who invented a unique dock to charge Apple devices was a finalist in the Start Something Challenge, a statewide business pitch competition for entrepreneurs and small business owners held by the nonprofit Rising Tide Capital.

	Stevens Women in Computing Advance Careers at Inspirational Technical Conference
Eleven female computer science faculty members and students from Stevens advanced their careers, networked with influential women in technology and connected with recruiters from top companies at the 2013 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, a prestigious technical conference designed to bring the research and professional interests of women in computing to the forefront.

For the 28th year, a team of Stevens volunteers joined the crew of the world-famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They helped test, inflate and guide the pilots of the iconic helium balloon characters that star in the annual holiday extravaganza.
