FUELING ENTREPRENEURSHIP

In July 2016, Stevens launched the new Stevens Venture Center, providing a dynamic, collaborative environment where Stevens entrepreneurs can develop promising concepts and technologies into thriving businesses.

Philanthropy and alumni engagement have been revitalized, demonstrating confidence in and positive sentiment for the university.

A STRONG FINANCIAL POSITION
Citing strong applications growth and high-quality programs, two of the nation's premier financial rating agencies each raised Stevens' outlook in recent reporting. Standard & Poor's raised its bond rating of Stevens to "A-" with a stable outlook, while Moody's upgraded the university's outlook from "stable" to "positive."

World-Class Facilities for a World-Class Education

Stevens is undertaking expansion and modernization to provide state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure to our students and faculty. This has been enabled, in part, by the $19.25M package of bonds and capital improvement funds awarded by the New Jersey State Legislature and Department of Higher Education.

New Facilities:
Gianforte Academic Center: new classrooms, teaching and research labs, faculty offices and seminar space
ABS Engineering Center: new teaching and research facility with engineering labs, faculty offices, seminar and study space
Babbio Center Garage: four-story expansion to existing garage to increase capacity

Modern Technology Infrastructure:
Network: complete wired and wireless upgrade
Computing Facilities: new data center and high-performance computing facility
Communications and Collaboration: VoIP environment
Enterprise Systems: new development and recruitment CRMs, HR/payroll and learning management systems completed; new student information system in progress
