Stevens Celebrates 150 Years By Looking to the Future

Stevens announced the kickoff of its sesquicentennial celebration, commemorating the university's progress since its founding on February 15, 1870. The celebration began with the launch of stevens150.com, which includes 150 stories recognizing the university's storied past and present and highlighting the future built on a foundation of innovation, drive and collaboration.


Going the Distance

Having captured six national championships for cross-country and track as a Stevens scholar-athlete, Amy Regan '17, now a program manager with Garmin International, will compete in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for a chance to compete for gold at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.


Report: Record Starting Salaries for 2019 Graduates

In a powerful testament to the demand for Stevens talent, 96% of the Class of 2019 has achieved employment, admission to graduate school or other first destination outcomes six months after graduation, with a record-breaking average starting salary of $76,400.


Smart Sensors Improve Resiliency and Alert Residents, Responders to Danger

Stevens researchers are exploring distributed sensing to help buildings, bridges, tunnels and roads signal when they're stressed.


A New Intercultural Space Opens at Stevens

The university community celebrated the opening of the new Intercultural Space, a supportive space for underrepresented students and their allies on campus to foster diversity and inclusion.

Thank You for Supporting the Founder’s Day Challenge!

During the Founder’s Day Challenge, we raised $39,055 from 170 donors to support Stevens students across the areas of academics to campus life to athletics to scholarships. Thank you for your investment in the university’s future. The organizations that realized the greatest increase in participation during this challenge and were awarded the $1,000 bonus to their scholarships are:

  • The Class of 1980
  • Theta Xi Sigma
  • Delta Tau
  • Lambda Upsilon Lambda

Selected by random draw, the winner of the $1,000 Amazon gift card, generously provided by Frank Semcer ’65, was Scott Suralik ’99.
