Stevens Update

June 2026 • Hoboken, NJ

Welcome from Vice President Cindy Chin!

Cindy Chin

Hi everyone,

As the academic year winds down, I want to share a few highlights from campus — moments that really show what it means to be part of the Stevens community.

We recently celebrated the Class of 2026 at Commencement, where graduates reflected on everything they’ve learned — not just in the classroom, but through challenges, teamwork and trying new things. Their stories were inspiring, and a reminder that growth often happens when you least expect it.

Earlier this month, campus was buzzing for Innovation Expo 2026. Seniors filled labs, arenas and outdoor spaces with projects they’ve spent months — and sometimes years — building. From robotics and sustainability to music, art and entrepreneurship, the Expo showed just how many different directions a Stevens education can take you.

We’re also excited about the momentum in our Pre‑Health Programs. More students than ever are exploring paths in medicine, dentistry, veterinary care, pharmacy and other health fields, supported by hands‑on research, clinical experiences and personalized advising.

Whether you’re finishing high school, planning your next steps or getting ready to join us on campus this summer, we’re excited for everything ahead.

Warm regards,
Cindy

Student Insight

Kieran Jackson
Electrical Engineering Major, Class of 2029

I think everyone should get involved in a student organization or club. After getting involved on campus, I realized how close-knit the community is. I thought there wouldn’t be much overlap between the groups I am part of; however, this couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m always surprised with how connected everyone is; it feels like everyone knows everyone else.

Staff Insight

Nicole Giammarino
Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions

I always encourage students to visit campus if they can, because it is one of the best ways to get a feel for whether a college is the right fit. I tell students to pay attention to how they feel when they are on campus, the people they meet and whether they can picture themselves being part of that community.
