Dear Colleagues,
As another school year comes to a close, I want to thank you for the extraordinary work you do to guide, support and champion your students. Your partnership is invaluable, and we are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you as your students explore their academic and personal pathways.
This month’s stories highlight the many ways Stevens students rise to meet challenges, opportunities and change. At our 154th Commencement, we celebrated the Class of 2026 — a group defined by resilience, curiosity and a willingness to embrace the unknown. From President Nariman Farvardin’s comments to lead with innovation to MythBusters co-host and keynote speaker Adam Savage’s reminder that growth comes from iteration and imperfection, the day highlighted the mindset we hope all students carry forward: courage, adaptability and purpose.
We also welcomed thousands of visitors to campus for Innovation Expo 2026, where seniors showcased projects that blended technical skill, imagination and real‑world impact. From sustainable energy solutions to healthcare devices and entrepreneurial ventures, the day captured the spirit of hands‑on and experiential learning that defines a Stevens education.
We’re also proud to highlight the continued growth of our Pre‑Health Programs. With strong advising, research opportunities and clinical experiences, our students are finding meaningful pathways into medicine, dentistry, veterinary care, physical therapy and other health professions. We’re also proud to announce that Emily Lossman ‘28 was awarded the Goldwater Scholarship — the most prestigious undergraduate scholarship in natural sciences, mathematics and engineering in America.
As you support your next class of students in the months ahead, we look forward to being a resource and a partner. Thank you again for the essential role you play in shaping futures and opening doors.
Warm regards, Cindy
