Greetings from Stevens Institute of Technology!
Dear Colleagues,
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express our gratitude for the work you do every day to guide and support your students. This season is a time for reflection, and at Stevens, we’re proud to reflect on the incredible contributions our students are making — both on campus and beyond.
As we look ahead to the upcoming deadlines, I wanted to share a few stories that reflect the kind of transformative experiences Stevens students enjoy and the kind of impact they’re already making.
This summer, several Stevens students interned at New Jersey Transit, where they applied their classroom knowledge to real-world challenges in infrastructure resilience, sustainable mobility and smart city integration. The agency has praised Stevens students for their technical expertise, innovative thinking and systems-level problem-solving — qualities that align perfectly with their mission to modernize operations and make data-driven decisions. It’s a powerful example of how our students are not only prepared for the workforce but are already contributing to it in meaningful ways.
That same spirit of curiosity and impact is evident in students like Mollie Good, a Class of 2026 science, technology and society major in the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. Mollie shared that she chose Stevens for its opportunities and strong STEM academics and has found her niche in patient-centered healthcare.
Innovation was also on full display at our recent Undergraduate Research Symposium, where students presented projects in areas ranging from AI and sustainability to biomedical engineering and urban planning. The event showcased not just the depth of our academic programs, but the creativity and drive our students bring to every challenge.
As a reminder, our upcoming application deadlines are:
- Early Action: Dec. 1
- Early Decision 2 and Regular Decision: Jan. 5, 2026
Thank you for all you do to support your students. We’re here to help if you have any questions about Stevens or the application process.
Warm regards, Cindy
