Welcome from Vice President Cindy Chin! |
Dear Colleagues,
As summer begins, we hope this season brings you well-deserved rest and rejuvenation. Here at Stevens, we recently celebrated our 153rd Commencement — an inspiring sendoff for the Class of 2025 and a powerful reminder of the transformative journey that begins with a college decision.
Now, we’re turning our excitement toward the future as we prepare to welcome the largest first-year class in Stevens’ history this fall! You can get a look into what makes our students thrive in the article below.
Our campus remains vibrant this summer with a range of events and Pre-College programs designed to spark curiosity and connection. If your travels bring you to Hoboken, we’d love to host you — just let us know in advance so we can make your visit special. We’re also hosting several virtual information sessions for prospective students for anyone who may not be able to make it to campus.
We’re also looking ahead to some exciting changes coming to Stevens this year, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon. Have a great summer!
All the best, Cindy

Student Insight
Misha Godha, 4/4 Quantitative Finance
I first heard about Stevens’ extracurricular opportunities during my senior year of high school when my counselor encouraged me to explore them. I wasn’t sure what to expect but getting involved early on really helped me transition into college life. Since then, it’s been exciting to see how much student life has grown, especially for first-year students — Stevens is always expanding programs to make them even more engaging and supportive.

Staff Insight
Adam Wu, Ed.D., Director of International and Transfer Admission
It’s important for all students, including international students, to talk openly with their parents about expectations for their college choice — especially around money, safety and career goals. At Stevens, the entire admissions team and I work closely with students and families to support them through the application process. It’s a welcoming environment that helps all students — first-year, international and transfer students — begin their U.S. college journey with clarity and confidence.
