Welcome and Holiday Greetings from Vice President Cindy Chin |
Dear Colleagues,
We hope this newsletter finds you well after the early application rush and Thanksgiving holiday.
Our team recently returned from China where we hosted events for school counselors, prospective students and alumni, visited high schools and met with university leaders. In addition to China, this fall we traveled extensively, meeting many of you in person.
We’ve released our first round of early decision notifications and are currently reviewing early action applications.
And we are thrilled to announce applications for our Summer 2025 Pre-College programs are now open! In addition to our on-campus residential programs, this summer we are offering five online for-credit courses for high school students taught by our amazing faculty.
As always, if you have any questions, our admissions, financial aid and pre-college teams are here to help.
On behalf of the entire Stevens community, I wish you a joyful holiday season and a successful 2025!
All the best, Cindy

Student Insight
Alexander Stanczak, 4/5 Mechanical Engineering Major Incoming Student Government Association President
Applying to college is an involved process so ask questions! Whether asking your school counselor for help applying or taking a campus tour and asking about the campus experience -- maybe even reach out to the director of the program you're interested in to ask about the curriculum -- these questions are the best way to get the answers you're looking for.

Staff Insight
Jennifer Rodriguez, Associate Director of Pre-College For-Credit Program
Students should consider taking college credit courses if they have a clear understanding of their goals after high school. Enrolling in a college course now can save them time and money while also helping them stand out on college applications. I highly recommend the For-Credit Program, particularly for students seeking pre-college experiences that can help them stand out during the application process to Stevens.
