Welcome from Vice President Cindy Chin! |
Dear Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well, and the school year is off to a good start.
We often receive questions this time of year about early decision versus early action or regular decision. Early decision is ideal for students with a clear top choice who are confident they will attend if admitted. Generally, admit rates are higher for early decision applicants because of the strength of their application and the smaller applicant pool, and at Stevens, those admitted will receive an estimated financial aid award at the time of decision and have about three weeks to secure their spot.
If a student is certain they want to come to Stevens, early decision could be a great choice. Admitted students will be eligible for our early decision scholarship, benefit from priority housing and course registration and enjoy their senior year without worrying about college applications.
For more information about our timeline, please visit our website or reach out to our admissions team with any specific questions.
Best wishes as you navigate the upcoming application deadlines.

Student Insight
Anastasia Vatrenko, Student Ambassador 3/4 Business and Technology Major
"I think it's important to have different perspectives and unique ideas, especially as a woman in business. I understand how intimidating it can be but I've found it’s so important to push your boundaries and try new things, especially in your undergraduate years. This is a time to hone new skills and learn new things.”
