University Highlights
Stevens' Art Harper Saturday Academy works with New Jersey high schools in under-resourced communities to identify talented students who are underrepresented in the STEM fields. During ten Saturday sessions each year, students strengthen their math skills, engage in project-based learning experiences and enjoy a taste of college life in campus labs.
|
Stevens' hands-on design spine courses not only teach engineering principles, but also critical "soft" skills like creative thinking, problem solving and project management. The robot challenge, a new feature of the first-year design labs, asks students to develop an autonomous robot which can navigate a simulated campus.

Dan Rosenberger '20 excelled in both the pool and the classroom during his four-year undergraduate career at Stevens. Now pursuing a master's in civil engineering, Rosenberger continues his connection to water, working on green infrastructure projects to protect coastal communities from increased flooding and storm surges created by climate change.
