Stevens senior Christina Trinidad '21 has been hired to Merck, one of America's largest pharmaceutical firms — before she has even begun her final semester. University Highlights
Stevens' Accessing Careers in Engineering and Science (ACES) program partners with high schools to identify and nurture STEM talent early, providing full scholarships to students to participate in college-level summer courses before they graduate. By learning about opportunities in STEM through the Pre-College program, students get a head-start in planning for college and beyond.

The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education has recognized Stevens as a top performer in transportation and water, further cementing its role as a leader in sustainability amongst colleges. Green solutions such as bioretention planters, rain gardens, and a bioswale serve as a living laboratory on campus.

Best-selling author Margot Lee Shetterly delivered a virtual lecture discussing the challenges and triumphs of NASA’s first Black women mathematicians. Their perseverance in the face of discrimination helped pave the way for future generations of underrepresented groups at NASA — and their story can help inform engagement of people from all demographic groups in STEM education and careers.
