While there is no template for starting undergraduate life in the middle of a global pandemic, admissions data for Stevens' Class of 2024 offers promising signs for how this new group will cope with and rise to the challenges presented during these unprecedented times.
University Highlights
COVID-19 forced universities across the country to quickly pivot to virtual classrooms for the remainder of the spring semester. Stevens' deep-seated roots in developing and leveraging technology solutions provided a significant edge in enabling that transition.
Working remotely, Stevens co-op students helped develop and roll out new technologies for Northwell Health clinicians and patients, and gained valuable real-world work experience.
Driven by strong demand, especially from faculty and prospective students and parents, Stevens provided virtual instruction of several of its pre-college programs, giving participants a real sense of college-level academics and study.
