A New Intercultural Space Opens at Stevens

The university community celebrated the opening of the new Intercultural Space, a supportive space for underrepresented students and their allies on campus to foster diversity and inclusion.

University Highlights

Alumni Return to Campus to Recruit More Stevens Talent
The success that so many companies experience with Stevens hires is always on full display at Stevens career fairs. This year's spring career fair was no different, with alumni overwhelmingly representing many of the nearly 100 leading companies in attendance.

Engineering for Young Girls
During Stevens' annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering! Day, Stevens professors and students visited Brensinger Elementary in Jersey City, New Jersey to bring awareness to the possibilities of engineering to approximately 200 elementary school girls in grades six through eight.

Alpha Has Arrived
A group of five undergraduates embarked on a two-year journey to establish Alpha Phi Alpha — Stevens' first black fraternity. Members of the national brotherhood have had an impact on just about every facet of society. At Stevens, the new fraternity is opening doors and important dialogues on representation.

Important Update from Stevens

At this time, Stevens has not seen any cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on campus. However, based on the New Jersey Department of Health and CDC guidance, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all on-campus admitted student events throughout the month of April and all campus visits through May 18th. In place of on-campus visits, we will be hosting virtual information sessions to help students learn more about Stevens during this time. Students can also view campus through our virtual tour. Please encourage students to contact their admissions counselor directly with any questions they may have.

Stevens celebrated the kick-off of its year-long 150th anniversary. Meanwhile, new organizations like the Black Affairs Council is helping to create a richer, more diverse campus experience for the university community.
