Going the Distance: Superstar Runner, Garmin Manager Chases Olympic Glory

Having captured an astounding six national championships for cross-country and track as a scholar-athlete, Amy Regan '17 is one of the greatest athletes ever to have walked the Stevens campus. Now, a program manager with Garmin International, the Kansas-based technology company known for its innovative and diverse GPS technology products, Regan will compete in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for a chance to compete for the gold at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.

From compiling an entire discography of pop icon George Michael for a radio popup channel to getting to see megastars like Taylor Swift walk down the hallway at work as a normal part of his day, Stevens junior Justin Chiola loved every minute of his time as a music programming intern at SiriusXM.

Quantum Scientist Moves Forward, Pays It Forward
Undergraduate physicist Kaitlin Gili '20, who has been offered admission to Caltech's doctoral program in physics and a full four-year doctoral fellowship at Oxford University, is helping to build the case for the fuller development of true quantum computing and launching a nonprofit to mentor women in STEM.

Business Student Turns Love of Writing Into His First Book
Garrett Kincaid '22 is able to balance his love for quantitative finance and his passion for writing while at Stevens. He plans to turn his published book, titled "The Pursuit of Purpose: Meditations on Life Lessons," into a tangible project that he hopes encourages readers to consider the importance of introspection.
