Stevens Celebrates the Opening of the Gateway Academic Center

Hoboken elected officials and neighbors joined members of the Stevens community for the ribbon cutting celebration of a $68 million, 89,500 square foot, state of the art teaching and research facility. The completion of the Gateway Academic Center, which broke ground in 2017, is part of a broad campaign that began five years ago to modernize the university's infrastructure into a 21st century campus for teaching, research, learning and living, representing the greatest period of transformation in the university's 150-year history.

High School Scholars From Underserved Communities Gain Pre-College Experience Thanks to Stevens ACES Program
Stevens has expanded access to its highly regarded summer pre-college programs to top performing high school students from underserved communities thanks to full scholarships made possible through Stevens ACES (Accessing Careers in Engineering and Science), a broad initiative that launched in 2017 to increase diversity in STEM education and careers.

Class of 2019 Outcomes Report Shows Impressive Demand for Stevens Business Graduates
Six months after graduation, 96% of Stevens' School of Business graduates have achieved employment, admission to graduate school or other first destination outcomes. And the 81% who have accepted employment are drawing an average salary of just under $77,000, an increase from last year and well above the U.S. average of $51,347 for the Class of 2019.

Stevens Launches Saturday Pre-College Program to Expand Access to STEM Careers
The Art Harper Saturday Academy at Stevens has recruited its first cohort of 19 students from traditionally underserved communities for a multi-year program that aims to improve students' mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities while exposing them to STEM careers and majors.
