Stevens Hosts Conference to Empower Women and Gender Minorities in STEM

The 2019 LeadHERship Conference brought together students, alumni, faculty and staff for a day-long conference that featured inspiring lectures from women leaders in STEM, networking opportunities and workshops on topics such as how to go about finding mentors, gender microaggressions in the classroom and workplace, and science-based practices to help women thrive in their careers.

The Case of the Curious Quant: Sociable Stevens Student Shines at DTCC Internship
Zenya Koprowski '20, a quantitative finance major, knows how to uncover data-driven insights that give financial firms a competitive advantage. But the way the program is taught at Stevens, through real-world applications, helped prepare her for the realities of her financial analyst internship at DTCC, and gave her the confidence to seek out constructive feedback from managers.

Georgetown Study Ranks Stevens No. 14 For Long-Term Return on Investment
Stevens is ranked No. 14 in the nation for return on investment 40 years after enrollment, according to a new report from the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, "A First Try at ROI." The report is the first to analyze the ROI of higher education at this longer time scale, revealing the value of a Stevens degree over the period of a graduate's career.

As they have for more than 34 years, Stevens students, faculty and staff helped Macy's pull off another successful Thanksgiving Day Parade to the delight of parade-goers who traveled from near and far. On campus, other brand name companies, including Apple, showed up at the university's winter career fair to recruit Stevens talent, some with the help of alumni.
