Stevens Selected to Compete in NASA's Moon to Mars Ice & Prospecting Challenge

An undergraduate Stevens team will compete as one of ten finalists in NASA's collegiate aerospace design challenge to extract water from ice deposits buried beneath simulated lunar or Martian soil in the final competition in Langley, Virginia in June.

A team of four biomedical engineering students have created a device that alerts caregivers to respiratory distress in pediatric patients who have undergone tracheostomy — a procedure to create an opening in the windpipe to help a patient breathe.

Women at Work: Exploring the Gender Gap in Business and Technology
A trio of business students is using technology to better analyze why women aren't advancing in their careers at the same pace as men in the business and technology workforce, a disparity that is more pronounced as women move up the career ladder.
