A new Forbes article applauds Stevens' leading-edge programs in quantitative finance and financial engineering, as well as the dazzling Hanlon Financial Systems Center, as examples of why the university has become the "Quant School on the Hudson."

Stevens Receives National Science Foundation (NSF) Award to Engage Underrepresented Students in STEM
The NSF grant will go towards developing a high school multimedia curriculum aimed at increasing the interest and knowledge of science and engineering of young women and groups historically underrepresented in STEM learning and careers.

Carnegie Corporation Honors President Farvardin With Academic Leadership Award
Stevens President Nariman Farvardin has been selected by Carnegie Corporation of New York as one of seven university presidents to receive its 2017 Academic Leadership Award in recognition of exceptional leadership in higher education, an award that also carries a $500,000 institutional grant for academic initiatives.

Financial Aid Insights - Admitted students receive automatic consideration for merit scholarships based upon the strength of their applications. To be evaluated for all types of need-based financial aid, Stevens requires both the CSS Profile and FAFSA.
