Stevens Fall Career Fair Connects Students with Top Employers

A record number of employers, 136 in total, descended on Stevens' campus for the annual Fall Career Fair. Hoboken-based Jet.com joined the likes of Verizon, Goldman Sachs, Turner Construction, MIT Lincoln Laboratories, EY and many more at what has proven to be a career-making event.

Stevens on the Road - Do you want to learn more about the opportunities available at Stevens? During the fall, our team will be traveling throughout the country to meet with students, counselors and parents. Visit "Stevens on the Road" to view our travel map and see when one of our representatives will be in your area.

Early Decision I - The deadline to submit Early Decision I applications is November 15. At Stevens, the acceptance rate for Early Decision I is higher than Regular Decision, thereby maximizing a student's chances for admission.

The Redesigned SAT - Applicants for the fall 2017 entering class will have the option to submit three standardized tests: the ACT, the old SAT format, and the redesigned SAT format. The admissions committee will evaluate and superscore each test independently.

Stevens Institute of Technology President Nariman Farvardin was interviewed and featured by The Chronicle of Higher Education as part of the Chronicle's "On Leadership" video series. Among the many topics explored, Farvardin discussed Stevens' upward trajectory over the past five years.

Stevens Creates Major in Accounting & Analytics
The accounting and analytics major, launched this fall by the School of Business, responds to the recruitment demands of the Big Four accounting firms, which seek job candidates who possess the analytical insights required of CPAs in a fast-shifting industry.

Stevens' Music and Arts on Display at Student-Run Festival
The OnPoint Music & Arts Festival showcased the unique and vibrant arts community of Stevens, featuring bands, singer-songwriters, poets, comedians, visual artists and dance groups.

Stevens to Host First Annual Conference on Reimagining Calculus Education
The October 28 conference will focus on improving the success rate of calculus students (high school and college level) through innovative teaching and learning strategies. Mathematics educators and curriculum developers are encouraged to attend.
