The LeadHERship conference brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences for a day of motivation, networking, skill-building and professional development.

In order to welcome all to join our conference, while still addressing the health and safety needs of our campus community during the ongoing pandemic, we will be inviting the public to join virtually via Zoom and livestream. Stevens students, faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to attend in-person or choose a virtual option. Whether you attend online or in-person, you will experience engaging, high-impact sessions, and learn from a variety of faculty, staff, students, and alumni who will share their wisdom and research-based insights to support leadership growth at any level.

Mona Hanna-Attisha is founder and director of the Michigan State University and Hurley Children’s Hospital Pediatric Public Health Initiative, an innovative and model public health program in Flint, Michigan. Aprille Joy Ericsson, Ph.D.

Aerospace engineer Aprille Joy Ericsson's career is distinguished by "firsts"; she considers her most prestigious honor of being the first person of color to receive The Washington Award from the Western Society of Engineers. She is the first African-American female to receive a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University (HU) and the first African-American female civil servant to earn an Engineering Ph.D. at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).
