Stevens Through the Years

The distinguished five-year term of Virginia Ruesterholz '83 Hon. D.Eng. '08 as chair of the Stevens Board of Trustees will come to a close next month. Ms. Ruesterholz is the first woman to hold the position of chair at Stevens. Her contributions to her alma mater over the decades have included serving as chair of the advisory board of the School of Systems and Enterprises, and, with her spouse, Kevin Ruesterholz '83, the establishment of a scholarship fund for Stevens students in the field of engineering management. The Ruesterholz family's generosity also made possible the conversion of the historic Colonial House building into a modern, state-of-the-art admissions center that was named the Ruesterholz Admissions Center at a dedication ceremony in 2014. After stepping down from the chair role, Ms. Ruesterholz will continue her service and leadership to Stevens as a member of the board.
