A highlight of the weekend was the Class of 1965 presenting a check for nearly $11 million, the largest gift in the university's history from a class celebrating a reunion. Stevens Receives DHS Contract to Improve Pest Inspection at Ports of Entry Through a $2 million contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Stevens will investigate new acoustic technologies to improve the detection of harmful agricultural pests and products that enter the U.S. in container shipments. Dream Career Comes True for Lauren Harpst '15 at Disney The Pittsburgh native is headed to Walt Disney World to work as a stage technician, with a specialty in audio engineering, for the many shows on display at Disney's Magic Kingdom Theme Park.
