First Look at Stevens’ Entry House in Solar Decathlon 2015
Stevens’ Griffith Building was transformed into an art gallery August 27 as visitors, including members of the media, a mayor from a Jersey Shore town and a local celebrity, viewed giant posters and elaborate renderings of SURE HOUSE – a sustainable, resilient home for coastal communities. Inspired by communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy, the Stevens team aims to design and construct a net-zero, solar-powered home that can stand up to some of Mother Nature’s toughest weather.
