It has been 40 years since Stevens became fully coeducational, and the University is far richer thanks to the influence of women in university academics, research, athletics and campus life. We are recognizing the distinguished contributions of more than 7,000 extraordinary women who have contributed significantly to the growth and accomplishment of the University.

Dr. Gregory Prastacos Appointed Dean of the Howe School of Technology Management at Stevens Institute of Technology
Dr. Gregory Prastacos, Rector and Professor of Management Science at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), has been appointed Dean of the Wesley J. Howe School of Technology Management at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Dr. Nariman Farvardin Presents First Biannual "Conversation with the President"
On December 12th, a new tradition began at Stevens – a biannual meeting of faculty, staff and administrators in which President Nariman Farvardin reported on the "State of the Institute" and answered questions from the audience.

Stevens SSE Faculty Lead Efforts to Release Newest Version of the Worldwide Graduate Reference Curriculum for Systems Engineering "GRCSE 0.5"
The Graduate Reference Curriculum for Systems Engineering (GRCSE™) is the first ever worldwide release of an "official" reference curriculum for a systems-centric master's level program in systems engineering.

Men's Basketball Breaks Single-Game Scoring Record in 127-83 Win Over RPI
Stevens Institute of Technology set a new single-game scoring mark in a 127-83 win over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in a non-conference men's basketball game on Jan. 3 in Canavan Arena.
