Essentially nonlinear patterns

Canceled due to weather

Abstract:   We study the formation of patterns in the prototypical quasi-linear equation,

Rosenau 125x

which, among other things, describes a concentration dependent advection and spread of species. It is shown that later stages of evolution tend to converge to universal attractors which afford a very simple characterization.
