The mission of the Lore-El Center is to increase awareness of women’s issues in the current professional and academic worlds, while building a supportive and dynamic atmosphere in the house that echoes throughout the Stevens community. Through carefully planned and targeted programming residents of the Lore-El Center grow into leadership positions in our academic community, foster positive social and professional interpersonal relationships, learn to promote self wellness and advance academic and professional skills.

By enabling the women the center to coordinate and participate in events that interest them and benefit themselves and their peers, it fosters an environment of continual learning and participation. The Lore-El selection process seeks to encompass already prominent student leaders as well as rising female leaders in an effort to promote a consistent cycle of growth.
