Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

The Housing and Economic Recovery Act (HERA) of 2008 requires certain information be made publicly available. Data on mortgages acquired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which regulated by FHFA, supplies mortgage lenders, planners, researchers, and housing advocates with information concerning the flow of mortgage credit and capital in America’s communities.

Federal Home Loan Bank System

The Housing and Economic Recovery Act (HERA) section 1212 requires the Director to make available to the public, in a form that is useful to the public (including forms accessible electronically), and to the extent practicable, census tract level data relating to mortgages purchased by each Federal Home Loan Bank.

The content of these files are unaudited and are reported directly by the Federal Home Loan Banks to FHFA. Questions concerning the content of these files should be directed to the relevant Federal Home Loan Bank(s).
