About Dragos Bozdog

Dragos Bozdog is the Deputy Director of The Hanlon Financial System Laboratory and Teaching Associate Professor in the Financial Engineering Division (School of System and Enterprises). He earned his Ph.D. in Financial Engineering and M.S. in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo, and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Bucharest.

His research interests include mathematics of finance, algorithms and optimization, multivariate methods for rare events analysis of high-frequency financial data, development of early warning systems and threat assessment in financial sector. Prior to joining Stevens, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Rutgers Center for Operations Research and he worked in the financial industry and government.
