My main areas of research are ocean engineering, numerical modeling of nearshore processes, hydrodynamics, multi-phase flow, sediment transport, storm surges and sea level rise, fluid mechanics, coastal floods, air-water-sediment interactions, wave mechanics, and physical dynamics of coastal oceans.
