Computer Science and IT Graduates in High Demand

According to a recent article; Computer Science, Information Technology and Management graduates are becoming increasingly sought after by employers around the world.

Demand for these skill sets continues to grow, and today, companies are suffering from a shortage of technology professionals. According to Jerry Luftman, Distinguished Professor and Director of Information Systems Programs at the Howe School of Technology Management at Stevens, “The pipeline is inadequate for IT professionals.”

This desire for well educated and industry ready graduates creates outstanding academic opportunities for students at Stevens. We offer an innovative Computer Science (CS) Department that specializes in computer security, computer vision, visualization, graphics and software engineering. The CS department also prepares students with a strong technical background and solid business skills, providing the foundations for steady, lucrative positions with a high level of creativity and growth.

The Howe School of Technology Management offers courses in Business & Technology and Information Systems that are leaders in their field. It possesses core strengths in technology management reflected in its outstanding faculty, who bring an important blend of academic and real-world experience to the program with an emphasis on practical application.

In addition to our academic programs, the Stevens mission to promote research & entrepreneurship along with our cooperative education programs give our graduates an unmatched experience that prepares them for a successful future in one of these hot careers.
