ImageMany American families have produced several notable politicians. But only a handful can claim to have produced more than one Commander in Chief. The family of Samuel Prescott Bush, a member of the Stevens Class of 1884, belongs to this most exclusive of clubs. Samuel was one of the top industrialists of his time, serving as a railroad executive, then a steel company president. But he's perhaps best known today for having been the patriarch of one of America’s most influential families, as grandfather to President George H.W. Bush and great-grandfather of President George W. Bush.
