Black Screen 2017

1. Login to your machine (you will get a black screen)

2. Hit ctrl+shift+esc

3. Click "New Task..." in the bottom right hand corner

3. Open: "explorer.exe"

4. Download ([Userinit.bat]). (If this is your first time connecting, the login is your Mystevens credentials) [Userinit.bat]

5. Place "userinit.bat" on your desktop

6. Double click it and wait several seconds

7. Log out

8. Log back in

If everything works fine, feel free to delete the file. If you need further assistance or any help you can contact the helpdesk at 201-216-5500 or come down the the basement of the library.
