The Library website is accessible from around the world. You can access everything within the website from off campus except for subscription-based research databases and e-journals. To access restricted databases, you must prove that you are a valid member of the Stevens community.
The Library Databases are located at: http://www.stevens.edu/library/research/azlist.html
All currently registered Stevens students, faculty, and staff are eligible for access to Library subscription databases. Your Stevens username and password are required for authentication to access them from off campus. Instructions to assist you with accessing the databases from off campus are below.
There are two ways to access the Library Databases
- On Campus (no special configuration required)
- Off Campus (Through the EZproxy server)
The EZproxy ServerTo access the restricted databases from off-campus you must prove that you are a member of the Stevens Community, the EZproxy simplifies this process. When a restricted database is accessed from off campus the user is given a login page. Once the user successfully logs in with his/her myStevens Account credentials they can access the database. The url for EZProxy is www.stevens.edu/ezproxy.
Access to the Library Databases are still available through the VPN, and users that currently use the VPN do not need to make any changes.
