If you have borrowed one of the following loans while in attendance then an Exit Interview must be completed:
- Direct Loan
- Unsubsidized Direct Loan
- Perkins Loan
The purpose of the Exit Interview is to explain your obligations and rights as a student loan borrower.

Perkins Loan Exit Interview:
Perkins Loan borrowers are required to complete an exit counseling session at
For both Direct Loans and Perkins loans you will need to provide two references. The references cannot have the same US addresses (Employment Information and Information for Relatives is not necessary for the Perkins Loan). Each Exit Interview should take 20-30 minutes to complete.
