Bloom Scholarship Awarded to Senior Jamie Brabston

The first Stephen L. Bloom Scholarship will be awarded to Computer Science senior Jamie Brabston. The scholarship is given annually to a student who is majoring in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems who has compiled an outstanding record in his or her field and who demonstrates interest and accomplishment in music or the fine arts. Dr. Gang Hua joins the Computer Science Department

Gang Hua has joined the Computer Science Department as an Associate Professor. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in June 2006 from Northwestern University. It is a little vehicle with a lot of potential. Stevens Places Second in the NECCDC

The SIT Cybersecurity team placed second in the North Eastern Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition in Boston on March 6, 2011.  The team members are Michael Arpaia, Nick Capalbo, Joe Geis, Piotr Lupinski, Raphael Salas and Ted Reed.  Congratulations on doing so well.
